The medieval walls, with numerous gates and Islamic arches, high defensive towers and long stretches of impregnable stone wall that surround the old city and would take at least an hour to walk around.

This Arab/Medieval gate was once the main entry into the old city of Ronda. It is still a very impressive structure. You can climb to the ramparts for a view of the Old City.

The puerta brings you back in time, it's a must see like all the other old buildings in Ronda. It's also very quiet in this neighbourhood (when we were here)

considering everything that there is to see, this was well down the list as a must see. If passing have a look but not really worth going out of your way to find it.

Entrance archway to the old heart of Ronda, like a fortress door and wall around the city,
a romantic medieval site to discover the old castle and town by the old way and flyover into the more recent modern town.
