A small hotel with about 15 rooms.
That means positive and negatives.
Very bad internet.
There is not parking in the hotel. If you have car not easy to stop in front of the hotel for your check in and your luggage, as you will stop the traffic...
We were just for one night.
Our room was good but with a just small window makes us feel uncomfortable (sad).
The bathroom very nice and in the right size. There are not bathrobes and sleepers...
The breakfast just OK. There isn't big variety. It's buffet but you have to ask for coffee tea or juice.
We had dinner in their restaurant. Not really happy. With these prices you can have dinner in a luxury restaurant.
From a hotel in this category and these money I'm expecting much more.
I don't suggest it, as I believe is expensive for these that it offer.

+ Great location with views of the bridge and waterfall from the restaurants. Very friendly restaurant staff. Classy, large rooms.
- Bad wifi which never worked. Unhelpful front desk staff

This hotel, just steps behind the Ponte Nuevo, offers a spectacular view of the town's justifiably famous gorge. It is a classical mansion, that speaks of the elegance of a bygone era, while offering the comforts of the 21st century. The hotel restaurant provides a similarly gracious and refined ambiance, with formal table settings and outstanding dishes. Breakfasts are generous and memorable, and the staff works hard to see to the needs of all its guests. We, for example, needed our laundry done within a day and this was accomplished with tact and efficiency.
We couldn't have asked for more, and accomplished all we set out to do on foot, and with ease.

We've stayed in hotels of all kind and caliber on many many trips in Western Europe. We loved Montelirio for its warmth, attentiveness, authenticity and charm. Oh and great location and food too. Highly recommend!

Hotel Montelirio was a lovely spot for our one night in Ronda. When we arrived we were checked in easily and shown to our suite that overlooked the famous bridge and the gorge. You can’t ask for a more stunning view in all of Ronda. The location was in the historic old city, but right on the edge and a quick walk to the commercial district as well. The room was more than comfortable and outfitted with everything one might need. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!
