“Took Millions of Pictures”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

The Puente Nuevo Bridge sitting along with El Tajo makes one of the best combinations of natural and historic in the Malaga region. I could not stop taking pictures from so many angles and distances. Make sure you make the walk down on both sides to get the full effect!

it is an amazing place, it takes your breath away. Rainer Maria Rilke said about Ronda that is the dreamed city and it is true. Everyone have to see this great place.

You have to walk down to the bottom of the gorge to get the full scale of this amazing structure.

The bridge is so old, the gorge is so deep, and the views are fantastic.

“Jaw-dropping views of the El Tajo Gorge from the bridge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2012

This town is a favourite day-trip visit for tourists on the Costa del Sol - we visited at Easter and drove up from Fuengirola on the coast near Marbella, on the A376, a winding and steep road but with awesome views. Ronda is very well known for its bullfighting - and also as the place where the ashes of Orson Welles are interred. Ernest Hemingway wrote 'Fiesta' in this village.
The highlight for me was the view from the New Bridge - see the pics attached - though there are other things to see - the convent art museum, and the old town streets amongst others.
In winter I'm told it snows so be careful if driving up then. We hired a small Corsa which was a bit underpowered and slowed down on the steep inclines driving up there.
