I must say that this my favorite place to stay when in Rincon, Puerto Rico. It has very beautiful and well kept landscaping, an awesome pool, and it is right on the beach! The rooms are super clean and comfortable. It's not right on the main road, which is great, as it is nice and quiet. All is all, a great place to stay!

This house was fantastic. Large kitchen, great outdoor gas grill, great pool and steps to the beach - although you had to walk a bit to find a good place to go in b/c of the rocks. But the house had everything you needed. We never left for the 4 days we were there. The suites beside the pool are perfect for families. I slept comfortably with my husband in the queen bed and my 10-yr-old son in the twin.

Room Tip: More privacy in the pool suites

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the location is fantastic. We spent a week here in February and fell in love with Rincon. The villas are well maintained but not updated. We really enjoyed all of the room. It was so nice to have 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room. We enjoyed the outdoor patio very much! My only criticism is that it is outdated and the beds are very uncomfortable. It's not dirty, but not exactly clean. We loved the space and location so much that we would go back. (We will just bring some cleaning products and sheets).

We chose Villa Ensenada for our base because of its close proximity to a wedding we were attending in Rincon. The property is tucked into the beach and we enjoyed our 2nd floor, two bedroom/two bath apartment on the ocean side. it was right above the pool (sometimes a bit noisy during our particular time there). The 2nd floor verandah had a lovely view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable but furniture a bit dated, and the outside furniture was not too comfortable - but doable.
One of the best features is that the place borders the Tres Palmas Marine Preserve which has an abundance of sea life which we observed from shore and while snorkeling. Note that it is difficult to enter the water in this area and one must bring water shoes and observe the best water entry points from the locals and frequent visitors (surf refugees from the north) who are familiar with the topography. Remember to note your entry point, keep your bearings in the water and exit at the same place you entered. If you don't pay attention you could could get scratched on the coral and other rocks that compose the surf ecosystem. My friend did get a big cut when she wasn't paying attendtion to where she was in the water. However, this location has one of the largest fields of elkhorn coral ever so it is worth it - just be safe - loved the family of cuddlefish/squid we encountered there one afternoon. The food and ambience found in this quite corner of PR was very good if you like a laid back vibe . A couple places we liked were the Rincon Beer Company for libations and fish tacos on the afternoon of the weekly local artisan fair (cool glass blower guy) and The English Rose for a great breakfast and a view to die for.
Another note: we could not get the wifi password to work while we were there so we used another source.

Came to Villa Ensenada with my family for a weekend trip. The staff (Florita the owner) is an excellent host, always available to help if needed. There are only 4 rooms at the Inn that fit 4 adults each. Each room is fully equipped with the basics including A/C and no matter what room you stay at, you'll only be a few steps away from the pool area and the beach. Domes beach is great for surfing and is within a walking distance and if you want to snorkel "Step beach" is also within reach to the west in a 10 minute walk. All you have to do is arrive and enjoy the well kept common areas and the beach. This place is paradise!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground level face towards the beach and have easy access to the pool area.
