We stayed in room 301 which had views of the pool area, mountains and the ocean in the distance. Absolutely beautiful! Our room was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to everything. You will get a bit of a workout (property has lots of stairs and no elevators) but it was manageable. The staff was great, friendly and helpful especially Elva in the office and the housekeeping staff. The poolside bar/pizzeria was great for drinks and a light meal. We enjoyed several pizzas during our stay.

While it's a bit of a drive from San Juan, it's well worth the trip to Rincon and the west end of Puerto Rico. We will definitely stay at the Lazy Parrot again!

After some time trying to find the restaurant , you have to go through the inn down stairs in the back to where the pool is.
The setting is fine neither here nor there but the music was low enough so that was good
The service was welcoming and attentive
The menu has a big enough selection to satisfy all appetites and diets
We shred the eggplant fritters which were delicious and not at all greasy
We then had a pizza each
And they were absolutely delicious and not too big or too small

I first went to the Lazy Parrot to eat at the yummy Queviva restaurant and became smitten with the place. It has a fun 1940s tiki vibe complete with vintage furniture and touches like parrot benches, mosaics, and plantings.

I called up and tried to make a last minute reservation. The staff was extremely accommodating and even offered me a discount price. The room was lovely, it was overlooking the pool and had a giant wooden bed with carved pineapples.

The center of the hotel is really the pool area, which overlooks the rolling hills. The pool was filled with laughing children but would have also been fun for people without children (such as myself).

I will definitely be staying there again!
