Wonderfully clean and well appointed room. Staff were very friendly, and the complimentary snacks & breakfast pack were appreciated and restocked both days. Rooms were quiet, bed was comfortable and parking was handy and easy to navigate. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We stayed midweek for a couple of nights and just loved it. The old Mechanics Institute has been skilfully converted into a modern, small beautifully styled hotel. We had the junior spa suite with a small balcony. This is a friendly, immaculate and excellent value hotel. Our room was lovely with an air of quiet luxury . High ceilings, high windows, well appointed kitchenette and lots of complimentary snacks. Lots of light in the room. We were right next to the wonderful deep verandah which looks out over the town. Don't forget to take a drink or two out there and relax in the very comfortable lounges. The staff were all welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is very quiet yet only 10 minutes walk away to the restaurants and shops. Dad's Deli (opposite the Woolies car park) is good for coffee and he can provide a lovely antipasto plate lunch to take away. The light breakfast provisions in the room is a nice and tasty touch.A lovely visit to this beautiful country town - we were a little sad to leave.

Room Tip: Junior Spa Suite is perfect for a couple sharing.

A beautiful building with beautifully appointed rooms. Staff were lovey. The Location couldn't be better. Great kitchenette and bathroom. Plenty of room to move and impeccably clean. Our favourite part was sitting out on the upstairs verandah at the end of the day with a drink overlooking the mountains and the street. Absolutely stunning!!! We will be back!!!

We previously stayed at the Soldiers motel and staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was clean but there is not enough car parking as we had to park way away from our room.close to restaurants etc which is a bonus though
