Don't listen to any of the bad reviews here. I have just got back from a week there with a group of 11 lads and the holiday wouldn't of been to same without this venue. We were made to feel at home straight away and throughout the holiday, didn't really suffer any customer service problems, the food was good, the place was very quiet. The room's were clean - basic - but not bad. The pool was reasonably sized. If you are looking for a party holiday this place is perfect, with just a walk out the front door and you are right on the strip, yet in the hotel it is very quiet and easy enough to get to sleep. Would recommend to all types. Thanks Nick and the gang.

Really close to the action (3 mins.), yet quiet. Basic, clean accommodation good value for money. Definitely not a party hostel when I was there. Maybe more suited to a family or someone who wants to crash after clubbing at night. Staff friendly and helpful. Relatively small pool.

We stayed there in a one-bedroom appartment. It was very big with balcony and had all what we needed. The only thing that was missing is soup and shampoo in the shower, but it is not a problem at all since it is clear from the hotel description. The stuff is extreamply friendly and helpfull. When we had some issues they helped us immediately.
The location is perfect. Within a walking distance to all beaches in Ayanapa. may be 25 min to Nissi Beach and 15 min to Liminaki Beach. It is very close to bar street (3 min walk) and at the same time is quite inside. We will definetly come back there again and would reccommend to our friends

Although Nicks Hotel is probably one of the best locations, it had a LOT of downfalls.

On arrival we were shown to our room (which they clearly didn't know we were meant to be staying). We had to walk down about 3 alley ways to our room to find out we were staying in some sort of secluded apartment where all the staff were living. This would of all been fine if we wasn't a group of 4 girls on our own, in what seemed like a 5 minute walk down some dodgy streets from the actual hotel.

So we get in our room and to give it credit it was absolutely massive, we had 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, massive living and dining room as well as a kitchen, it was just really old. Our plans to self cater had to be abandoned as all the utensils and pots were rusty and broken, in fact the only good thing about the kitchen was the fridge and freezer.

The bathroom was horrendous, very old and the toilet only flushed every hour if we were lucky and the shower only had enough hot water for the first 2 people that went into it.

There were cockroaches everywhere so on our first night we chose to escape to the bars early!

Half way through the week the room hadn't been cleaned, and none of the staff understood any English but we managed to get some clean sheets after 4 days of being there. To which the maid had clearly rummaged through all our things and moved everything around as we were finding our things in each others suitcases. After demanding some clean towels we were also horrified to find out that they were covered in someone elses hairs!!!!

We did complain but nobody understood what we were saying so we abandoned them in a pile on the balcony. Which wasn't great either, although we had two it was a choice between a balcony over looking a quad bike shop on some quiet street or a balcony which was facing the dodgy alley way we had to walk down!

You can't keep your money in a safety deposit box as they are all kept in reception, where the keys were located just behind the desk....

Talking to other hotel guests it was clear that other people were given a much better room! In fact our friends tried to find our room and after asking at the hotel desk they were told it didn't exist.

Contrary to what the other reviews may say, we learnt that Mario (the owner) does not let you go in the pool at night.

Very creepy that a lot of people decided to play knock a door run on our doors when we were getting ready for a night out, especially as out room was so far away from civilization!

The best thing about nicks hotel was the fact that hardly anyone else was staying in the apartments so the pool was empty and brill to relax at through the day to get through the hangovers.

9 lads! Just spent a week staying at nicks hotel, you get exactly wat you pay for, basic but if your only there to sleep n shower its perfect. If you take a right its at the starts of the strip with the first bar about a minutes walk away. The main clubs are about 5 mins up the road. If you take a left the resturants and shops are a 5 min walk away with the harbour a 20 min walk and in the opposite direction nissi beach which is lovely! There is also a fair ground near the harbour which is decent aswel! The hotel staff made us feel very welcome, nick the owner made our stay enjoyable and suplied us with plenty of shots! Had a good night celebrating our birthdays together! All staff wer friendly and happy to help with anything. Pool was on the small side but was big enough to enjoy! Excellent holiday!
