Very welcoming and warm from the moment you open the door.
These ladies know their stuff and have a story / history for everything in their shop and I mean everything! Great sense of humour we really had a laugh and a good time. Don’t drive past it call in!

It’s hard during winter to experience some of the local vineyards as some of the smaller wineries choose to close their cellar door during this period. But never fear. A trip to the Farm Shed gives you the opportunity to sample wines from almost all of the wineries in one place and to have your wine packed and sent from the post office in the same shop. Even wines not purchased from them but purchased from any winery in the Tamar region can be accommodated in a combined box or boxes. This is also true of the other wineries that we visited which is fabulous and allows you to collate a mixed dozen across many wineries. Talk to Helen or Subi. They’ll look after you and share their wealth of local knowledge of the wines. We had a great time.

We stopped off for lunch while exploring the East Coast. Food was wonderful - fresh, tasty and plentiful. Service was personal, from the greeting as we entered, and friendly without being intrusive. Some gentle persuasion resulted in a glass of Apsley Gorge wine being enjoyed - not inexpensive , but so worth it! There is a great and diverse selection of quality gifts, including some lovely cards. The building is spectacular and stands out like a beacon in Bicheno. Thoroughly recommended!

Thanks Reta. Hope to see you again. The Sicilian Brakfast cake is also a beauty! We're off on a break for June so cakes and coffee will be back in July however plenty to See and do with the wine centre and gallery open 10-4 Monday to Friday throughout June with our wonderful Susan.

It's a lovely spot but when you have a family with simple tastes and allergies then this is not the place to go. A real shame. It does have veg/gf but only if you like marinated or fancy combinations. Not for us and to feed a family was just too expensive.
