Easy parking, no BYO corkage and a varied menu. Wow, this is the place to eat!! 5 of us went for dinner, and chose to go with a banquet for 4, and thought we'd have to order more dishes. The staff obligingly offered to keep the same menu, but to provide enough of each dish to cater for the 5th person. Everything was fresh and tasty and the waiting staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the prices were very reasonable. It came to less than $40 P/P, and that included one more main dish and 2 desserts. great value dining. We'll be back.

The food here is delicious! They often make me my favourite dish that is not even on the menu...i have never had a dish from here that i have not liked. The staff are so friendly. I definitely recommend Erawan for the yummy food and the prices are not too bad too.

Combination of Thai, Malay, Chinese food. This restaurant ticks all boxes as far as I am concerned. We turned up (two children in tow)without booking a table at around 7pm after a long day out. The weather was terrible and not many people were out. This restaurant seemed like one of the few in the street with customers. They found us a comfortable table near to a heater - which involved clearing a table for us and brought food out really quickly, making helpful suggestions about the menu and taking account of family budget issues. Their menu indicates level of hotness of the dishes with chillis, however when my children wanted a "2 chilli" dish (pretty hot) they offered to make a mild version. Really couldn't fault the service at all and the food was all delicious. Highly recommended. Visited as a family but this is a nice quiet restaurant with low lighting and tasteful decord, and would work equally for visits with friends, business or solo.

Opening recently on the site of the closed "Thai Corner" in the heart of Caloundra, the offer of Thai and Malaysian Chinese cuisine tended one to ask, "Which flavour/style/nationality will dominate?"

I am pleased to report that our diners can say, "At Erawan, you can have the best of both cuisines."

Starting with the delightful entrees of Satay Chicken on sticks and Curry Puffs which tempted our taste buds for what was to come.

Our group chose to share the Thai Massaman Curry on a base of coconut rice, claiming the dish was among the best they'd ever tasted.

The Malaysian Salted Pork really hit the spot on everyone's palate, while the other choice was the Erawan version of 'Pad Thai'. What a top dish? It had a great taste and yet again, was among the best Pad Thai our group ever enjoyed.

Erawan is a BYO wine and beer restaurant, which is applauded by our gourmand group.

Friendly staff and the discovery that the former chef at Thai Corner has returned to Erawan, rounded off a great night. Our group all agreed that a night at Erawan was great value for money.

We'll certainly be back, but the only downside will be that once this 'newest hidden secret' leaks out, obtaining a table will require a definite booking.

The revamp of Thai Corner and inclusion of a Malaysian Chinese menu has certainly been a good move, and adds yet another gastronomic benefit to the Sunshine Coast.

Keep up the good work, Erawan.
