the welcome warmed us, the food was delicious and the ambience was lovely. We went as a couple but it's a great restaurant for a girls evening out, families or large groups. There were also single people eating there. I think they may do take away too. We would certainly return.

Great Moreton Bay bug linguini and also for the swordfish linguini. Two couples catching up after a long time apart.
Terrific taste and fresh seafood, great service with a very pleasant atmosphere.
Glad we came.

Holiday and tourist restaurants are often disappointing with poor service ,ordinary food and exorbitant pricing. La Dolce Vita serves as an example of one that offers excellent service, solid food and moderate pricing, casual atmosphere, and well recommended. In the popular Bulcock street ,the night was quite busy, but service-particularly from our young waitress was excellent. Service from a person who is knowledgeable about the food and wine ,attentive and engaging, with a sense of humour, can make a night that much more enjoyable. The food was very solid, with my eye fillet steak perfectly cooked, moist, tender, pink in the middle and well presented. The accompanying greens were a little over cooked-but appealingly well presented on the plate. The wine list, while relatively small, was well matched for the food on offer.Food and wine was quite moderate for the location of this restaurant.
Well worth a visit if you its

Good food and hospitality, recommend this restaurant. Good selection of menu items. Staff friendly and catered for children and adults dining.

Excellent food and service, bedt Italian in the area. Took our 10 months old as well and she loved sitting in a high chair having her risotta while we dined. Ordered moretone bay bug linguini and it was perfect! Very nice flavour!
