Such a great property in a central location to explore the blue mountains. Lovely personal touches like fresh flowers, ground coffee and tim tams. Received a detailed email full of recommendations before our arrival which was priceless in deciding what to do and where to dine. Will definitely return to stay again.

“Warm, homely and extremely romantic”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Atelier is a hidden gem indeed. Not only is it very private and quiet, but it is also very close to the main street of Katoomba. A five minute walk and you are there in amongst the restaurants, shops and pubs.
Atelier is a couples dream - comfy couch to snuggle on, warm fire, deep two-person spa, large open shower and a great view from the bed on the loft. Also, the little additions of tim tams (yum!) and candles were a beautiful touch. Given that this was my first weekend away with my boyfriend, I came away extremely happy with my choice of accommodation.
The place was impeccably clean and the owner Michael was very helpful right from the booking.
I highly recommend Atelier to any couple wanting a romantic stay in the Blue Mountains.

Everything we were hoping for and more. Luxurious accommodation, efficient booking process and an excellent experience overall. The time we spent at Atelier was entirely too short. We are looking forward to staying again.

“Peaceful yet convenient location”
Reviewed 23 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

ATELIER was a lovely choice for a weekend away, very short walking distance from the cafes, restaurants and shops of the main street yet nice and quiet. A short drive to many lookout, the Three Sisters, the chocolate shop and lots of bushwalks. ATELIER had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. Michael is very big on privacy so we felt comfortable that we had the place to ourselves uninterrupted. Great to have a cup of tea in front of the fire at the end of the night. The high ceiling made it take a while for the place to heat up however we did visit mid winter and weren't at home alot to have the fire etc going to keep it warm. There is an air conditioner to heat the place whilst you get the fire going. Great for couples. I'd love to go back and just chill out there with a good book, this time we were mainly sightseeing so didn't get to spend as much time at the place as we'd like to.

Liked best: Short walking distance to the action on the main street but far enough away to be peaceful
Liked least: A bit bright in the mornings with the large upstairs window (but lovely at night to see the stars from bed!)

“Cosy and quiet place with modern amenities”
Reviewed 23 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

When we walked into the accommodation, my partner and I were really happy to see how cosy the whole place was. The fireplace gave the whole room a nice inviting feel. All the items we needed for our stay were available. We both enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.
