A cruise ship in the middle of the town,is what struck our intention when booking. Having done cruises before, this felt kind of strange, as it does not move. CORRECTION it moved early Sunday morning there was a mild earthquake about 5 AM.....
Tina at the front desk made us feel right at home. Yasser, the waiter at the restaurant where breakfast is served, is a very pleasant waiter, who tends his customers very well. Choice of breakfast is a bid limited, but really well prepared with fresh fruit juice and the typical Dominican Coffee.
Going back to the cruise ship, the cabin (apartment) is fantastic, spacious and well equipped. The sea view is very nice and the whole compound is very well located to go out for lunch or dinner. The only small down point though is that if you sit on the balcony it is very loud, due to the bikes, cars, quad's and trucks. once you close the windows and stay inside, this issue is solved, as windows seal out noise very good.
a place to stay if you're willing to put up the buck.More
