“Superb place for a relaxing holiday”
Reviewed 5 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

What may have started life as a 2 bed bungalow is now a very high quality 4 bed holiday home. Furnishings are of the highest quality and the first floor is easily up to the standard of a luxury Mayfair flat.
Weather was attrocious but it did not matter, We had a great time and there was plenty of room for or party of 9.

Seriously considering going back in the summer .
Cannot recommend highly enough

“The perfect place for a family reunion”
Reviewed 14 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This property is pefectly located for those who want to stay on the South Coast but not in one of the large towns. It looks directly onto the sea with stunning views from the balcony. You could easily be abroad! The house has recently had a brilliant extension on the seaward side so though the property is old it has a very modern feel. There is a sliding glass door between the dining room and the stairs which could be a problem for young children. The internet connection is via a dongle which is not perfect but otherwise this property lives up to its billing perfectly. Not cheap but excellent value for money.

“This is a fabulous house - peaceful and restful. Good for the soul.”
Reviewed 3 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The owner and the house carer are both very kind and warm people. It has been a great experience to deal with them. They made you feel welcome before you even get there. The house has amazing view, well equipped. One can sit in the upstairs living room for hours to just stare into the ocean view. The immediate access to the beach and the beach walk way from the garden is another great feature of the house. The welcome hamper is a generous gesture. All work together that made we feel welcome. Great experience.

“Peaceful environment with plenty to do, delightful property, fabulous holiday!”
Reviewed 11 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

The accommodation here is superb and looks out directly onto the coastal path, beach and sea. My mother and I took our 2 grandchildren and dog for the week and members of extended family came to stay for a night or 2 each - there were 9 of us there in total over the week. With 3 bathrooms no-one is ever stuck waiting to get ready for the day and with bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, my disabled mother was able to join us. There are a couple of steps front and back, but we managed to negotiate those. It would be fine for some disabilities, but not wheelchair access.

There's a lovely big garden which is secure and the children and dog ran around all day in it . There's a playroom with lovely toys, plenty of nice seats to sit outside on; body boards and beach towels are provided. Even a gas barbecue! We didn't manage to use half of it, but we had a great time.

The accommodation is stylish in New England colours and comfortable with lovely touches such as a driftwood lamp and cosy rugs. There's so much to do there, we just enjoyed being there and going on the beach. We didn't spend anything on going out for days and we thought it well worth the money. A lovely place to meet up with friends and family. We've now been twice and hope to go again. Marcus and Simone are a pleasure to deal with and the house has all mod cons.

Liked best: The extension has a living room with a glass wall that opens out onto a veranda looking out to sea - fantastic!
Liked least: It didn't bother us, but the beach is stony - so not a barefoot option.

“Wonderful setting on beachfront - close to good pubs, restaurants etc.”
Reviewed 16 January 2015 for a stay in September 2014

Excellent spot for a break and the house redevelopment is astonishing.
From a traditional cottage into a serious beach front property.

Sea walks out of the back door were a high spot.

Only slight negative that did not affect us - could use more showers for a large group.
