Couple awesome hosts ,Tim and Paulette, with a great contemporary spacious 5 star accommodation and you have just managed to halfway define The Arrow Private Hotel.Just a stone throw from Arrowtown: a modern day version of an idillic miner's town that caters for every taste,be it sightseeing or fine dining.
Tim and Paulette provide not only the virtually perfect breakfast, but combines it with the unequalled personal touch. They truly go out of their way to make one feel welcome by adding the little things that matter(playstation 3 for children and "pillow menu" ,etc.)
Thank you once again Tim and Paulette for an awesome stay.

A great find, loved the modern room (and we generally prefer heritage) the heated floor was really appreciated in a very cold few days in September, magnificent view thru double glazed panoramic windows. A short walk back into town for some great eateries made the location even better. Tim is an excellent host and this Hotel is highly recommended.

We love sharing our very different country and adventures with Australians when they come to visit. It was great to hear your stories and experiences which are very different to ours. We hope to see you again one day.

What a great place to spend a weekend away from home. Thanks Tim, perfect host, the rooms are modern, spaceous and spotlessly clean, breakfast hot and tasty. A short walk out of town, means it's peaceful, quiet and the view from the room just delightful. Thanks again.

Tim & Paulette, you guys are the dream team! Thank you for the superb 7 night holiday getaway. The room was beyond a doubt the most romantic little nest we have had the pleasure of nestling in. It was perfect for celebrating 20 years of marriage & difficult to leave. We will be back!

Room Tip: Unit B2 was located where we got maximum sun in the wintery Arrowtown mornings with beautiful mounta...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Arrow Private Hotel is an Arrowtown Boutique Hotel just five minutes walk from the centre of Arrowtown. With very contemporary design and styling, the Hotel recently won a prestigious architecture award and guests frequently comment on the attention to detail in the suites. In contrast, a historic stone cottage is the central meeting place at the Hotel. It is used as the reception area and as a house bar for evening refreshments and canapes. The roaring fire is very welcoming on a cold winters evening and many a tale has been told before guests walk into Arrowtown for their evening dinner. The Private Hotel is recognised one of the best Arrowtown B&B's. It operates more like a luxury lodge with each of the suites having its own private access and a hot cooked breakfast is delivered to each suite daily via a secret cupboard. With only 5 suites we are able to provide a very personal and private service . Adventures of all levels are not far away from the Hotel. Walking and cycling trails run right past the base of the Hotel which backs onto Coronet Peak Station. The Arrow Private Hotel is 20 minutes drive from the Coronet Peak ski field, from the Gibbston Wine region and from Queenstown. There are also 3 great golf courses within 5 minutes drive. ... more   less
