Visited the museum with our sons and their families for an educational outing. Very friendly and helpful staff who despite the language difficulties worked very hard to make our visit enjoyable and informative. Very interesting exhibition and film show.

A little bit of local history, a bit about the local hydroelectric dam, and a little bit about the evolution of electricity use in france over the years.

We visited here early 2016 on the occasion of the draining of Lac Guerledan for maintenance. The museum has various discraded generators superseded over time from the power station at Lac Guerledan. We went with a retired electrical engineer and he was absolutelu enchanted. . We saw various kinde of high voltage/power switches, old designs of washing machines. Even if electricity doesnt turn you on its worth a visit
