Having a few hours to spend on our last day, we stopped by the Centre to take a look. It's a good general introduction to the history, culture and beliefs of the local indigenous population. However, maintenance of the Centre seems a bit patchy as parts of the gallery was poorly lit during our visit, therefore making it hard to view and read some parts (unless there was a specific reason for this, though there was no explanation that we could see). If you are interested in knowing more about the local people, it's worth a visit, although hopefully the lights would have been fixed by then.

It is indeed a great introduction to a cuture that is over 40,000 year old.

The free of charge museum display was very good witheverything well explained. An excellent explanation of the seasons as seen by the local people made a lot of sense. The shop has some lovely art for sale at reasonable prices. Toilets are clean. We went three times.

This is the cultural center near the Yellow River boats and it does a great job of explaining the cultural and agricultural background of the traditional owners of the Park. (You should also see the Visitor's Center.) You will need about 1 1/2 hours here.
