We arrived at 11:30 am, place was full, so we went into the nearby restaurant (Cucina) to be seated. Everyone's food was very good, simple and tasty ingredients, well prepared. Special mention to the black rice pudding, which was an explosion of different savor at each bit. Service was efficient and very nice. A good place to go for breakfast or lunch. Coffee was good too, as in Italy.

Coffee and a bite, great brew and a nice sausage roll that was heads above many others... setting was awesome and of an age that well reflected the area of historic Oamaru. A little off the main drag but with the number of locals there it is a hidden gem, well worth the effort to find it .... came recommended by a local too .... a recommended place for sure...

The title says it all! The only problem is when you go and get a coffee you have to buy a cake too as they (the cakes) talk to you and 'say eat me! ' The menu food is also really amazing. You can tell its good by the number of locals who come in too.

Went for breakfast, food and service was good. Partner ordered the french toast which he said was nice. I ordered the make your own of bacon, eggs and potato cake. This was lovely (though expected bread to be apart of this but had to order that to).
