Stayed at boat harbour just down from Goose Bay. $51 for 3 adults in campervan per night. Most expensive yet. Very basic facilities but nice & clean toilet block with music playing
& hot showers which you push a button for 6 minutes.
Parked right by the edge so can sit in camper looking out at the sea. Cool rocks to clamber over. Sea not for swimming in. Saw seals, dolphins a few times & even 3 whales. Eeekkk EXCITING!!! Others had fire amongst rocks at night which looked fun.
Did find it odd that there were 5 sites off one power box yet only 2 camp sites cords were long enough to reach the power box. We had four campers squash beside us into what was 2 sites yet only our cord reached so they paid for a powered site for nothing. They could have moved though.
Very friendly man at Goose Bay camp site where you go & pay & book a site.
Loved being so close to the sea & wildlife. A sea gull even pooped on my daughter's head haha then when we walked to see the seals about 5m away the sea gulls ate all the food off our outdoor table!! Had to laugh though More
