We had lovely stay at Churchill Park Lodge. Our host, Jude, was very friendly and accommodating, and made us a delicious breakfast. And the views from our room were spectacular! It was the end of August, so we enjoyed pleasant weather and snow capped mountains. I highly recommend this B&B, and hope we get to return some day.

Room tip: The rooms all have priceless views.

My wife and i stayed here for one night in March when we visited Kaikōura for the whale watching. We hadn't pre-booked accommodation, which we knew was a risk, but a lovely lady at the Kaikōura iSite rang our hostess, Jude, and she agreed to let us have a room; even though she had intended to have a day off.
The B&B is easy to find, opposite the hospital on the main road. It is handy for the restaurants in the town - a ten minute walk down a zig-zag path.
Our en-suite room was lovely; it was clean and comfortable with free wi-fi, tea and coffee facilities and a balcony that offered spectacular views of the coastline and the mountains.
Jude is a very knowledgeable and helpful hostess - she told us of the problems the earthquake and recent cyclones had caused, and offered excellent restaurant advice.
After a very good night's sleep, we elected to have the continental breakfast, which was more than adequate for our needs, and was served with very good coffee.
All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending Churchill Park Lodge.
Our only regret was that we were only in Kaikōura for one night.

We had a lovely stay in Kaikoura for two nights with Jude. The accommodation was in a great spot with magnificent views even with cloudy weather. Easy to walk in to town and other spots along the peninsula. Jude is a great host and really enjoyed getting to know her during our visit. Hope to return again someday!

We stayed for two nights here. Jude is an amazing hostess. We had lot of pleasure in staying in her home. She made us feel very welcomed and provided us all the information and history and it felt that we were part of the town itself.

I was in need of an anti histamine urgently. Jude was out of stock and advised me get it from the super market. She was so good that she gave me exact location of where exactly I would find it (aisle and location) that I was able to zero in and be out of super market in less than 5 min.

The room itself is very nice and with a view to kill for. Being vegetarians, we had specific requirements and Jude went out of the way and the breakfast was very yummy.

A spacious room with a fantastic view from the balcony. It was very clean with a comfortable bed, and a nice sofa. I got a warm friendly welcome from the hosts and enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast.
