    High recommend shop

    A lovely German couple which lead that shop with heaps of love and a special atmosphere. You will find a lot of different things from pics to sculptures and also jewelry made out of jade and other natural things. Everything you can buy is made in New Zealand what i appreciate...nothing made in China
    So if you are in Hokitika I can recommend to make a short stop and visit that shop.

    Simply impressive!

    I visited the gallery yersterday and was impressed of the beauty of the photography and the prints as well as the great selection of local art! If you are in Hokitika - visit this place!!

    we drove by on our road trip, spend some time to explore this gallery but we considered everything overpriced.

    What a gem

    So lovely to chat with Juergen Schacke, the owner/photograher in store. The selection of his art and that of other local artists is well worth a viewing.

    A great compendium of artists

    Local artists with works on consignment...from textiles to jewelry and all kinds of 2-D and 3-D art works.
