Rosewood Guesthouse....Gorgeous

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 5 May 2019via mobile
We recently spent the night at Rosewood Guesthouse during a recent trip to Western Australia. We had the pleasure of staying in the Wallcliffe Suite, very spacious, including an extra bed, separate lounge area and small kitchen and a spa bath. Jane and Keith were the perfect hosts, they both gave excellent advice on things to see and do. If you wanted a nightcap there were two decanters in the beautiful sitting room, one with sherry and one with port. Breakfast was amazing with her homemade jams and fruit compotes and daily specials. Rosewood Guesthouse is just a short walk into the main town area.Highly recommended a stay at Rosewood Guesthouse.

Cheers
Robert & Cindy

Keith and Jane's hospitality, good tourist advice and impeccable taste complemented the exquisitely elegant, traditional and and not-over-fussy surroundings they've created. From the gorgeous little garden to the lovely and friendly lounge and deck, to the extremely comfortable and not prissy bedroom it's a pleasure to be in (so much that we didn't really notice whether they had most of the amenities mentioned below in this survey). And there's complimentary anzac biscuits, chocs and port, and Jane's own superbly preserved fruit & jams. And a surprisingly excellent gastro-pub next door!. What's not to like/

We stayed at Jane and Keith's beautiful home during the Easter weekend in April 2019 and could not have made a better choice. Their home is beautiful, warm, charming and spacious. Keith was kind enough to sit with us and give us a detailed low down on what there is to do around the region, recommendations on where to eat (all amazing!) and which wineries to go to etc.
The breakfast was delicious and filling and it was fun to catch up with them and other guests every morning. The location is quite great to...only about a 15 min walk to the town centre if you don't feel like driving. We would recommend rosewood highly!
Thank you Jane and Keith!

We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of March this year. We had a lovely stay in a large room with a very comfortable king bed. Our hosts were engaging and really informative about the area. The breakfasts were stunning - good quality and the daily specials were excellent! However, the draw back for us was that they were served only between 8-9 am. The guest house is a little walk from the centre of Margaret River - about 20 mins, there is a good range of restaurants for evening meals.

Room tip: Can't suggest any really

Hi Cassie2808
We are delighted that you had an enjoyable time at Rosewood and the breakfasts were worth getting up for! Gee you must dawdle a bit...it takes us 10 minutes to walk the 700 metres to the main street.
Hope you visit again

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights). The house itself is charming, very traditional and set in beautiful gardens. Great location for sightseeing and very peaceful. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Complimentary tea/coffee making facilities are provided in your room. Nice shower.
Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. We sat with other guests for breakfast, comparing notes about local attractions. We were very well looked after and the place has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended, we would definitely make a return visit.
