Went for a pub meal that we have previously enjoyed at this venue, to discover a "share" style menu. It was suggested we try several different dishes to share. Um bit pricey for this! We ordered a beef curry $30 and a Drunken Duck $36 and had to purchase a $6 serve of steam rice to accompany same. The Drunken Duck was with Brocollini ..... um it was served with Bok choy. The Asian spices were the pieces of cinnamon stick and star of annise that needed to be lifted out. It had smashed and shattered bones all the way through it..... road kill comes to mind. The total cost of our meal $100. That was the above plus one glass Chardonnay one glass apple cider and a bottle of sparkling water.
Not sure when this new menu arrived but it's not one we will revisit.
Staff were lovely.
