I stayed at Topiary Haven for my wedding night and loved it. The gardens are beautiful and were perfect for photos. It cost around the same price as a hotel room in one of Launceston’s nicer hotels but it offered so much more, it's defiantly great value. The owners are so helpful; nothing was too much trouble, early check in, late check out, no worries at all. The owners are also thoughtful, they got a card, wine and biscuits for my husband and I. Inside is spacious, modern and beautiful decorated. The breakfast hamper hiding in the fridge is a cute touch as well. Close to the cataract gorge and the city centre. If you’re looking for somewhere unique and special to stay in Launceston I would highly recommend Topiary Haven.

The accommodation is set at the rear of the block so is very quiet. The whole property is immaculate and you walk through Diana & Barrys exquisite garden to the apartment which is delightful. The apartment is completely separate from the main house and is 5 star. The kitchen meals area is perfect very well appointed. You don't need those extras in the kitchen and plenty of fresh biscuits, bread eggs and a wonderful chees platter was also provided.The views from the dining area are great and Diana & Barry were the perfect hosts. The apartment was very clean and features a large bedroom with ensuite (stocked with plenty of towels) and a laundry. With a supply of CDs and DVDs it was a great place to stay . It is very close to the gorge so ideally located. We are definitely coming back!

We travel quite a lot and normally don't write reviews of places we've stayed at, but we feel we must share with others the pleasure of our stay at Topiary Haven a couple of weeks ago. It's located on a quiet street about 5 mins from Cataract Gorge but also close enough to Stillwater where we had a delicious dinner. The bungalow, to which guests have private access through the garden, has been tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, with a spacious lounge, dining corner with a lovely view and a large well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bedroom with walk-in closet and en suite shower room. The kitchen was stocked with fresh bacon, eggs, salad, a good selection of fruits, loaves of bread, and even bottles of wine, and all appliances were brand new. The equipment was everything a cook could ask for (and more). With accommodation like this, we would not have minded if it had rained all day (but the weather was lovely). Topiary Haven has definitely set the standard! Many thanks Diana and Barry.
