Well, this Hotel was definitely a very pleasant surprise, the rooms were large and comfortable with a large couch and and good desk to work from, also had a great bathroom very old style but modern. We were totally surprised how quiet the room was, have stayed in many places in the Launceston area and have now found where we will be staying next time when we are in the area. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Well done to all at the Clarion.

Our recent stay at the Clarion Hotel was absolutely lovely from the moment we checked in. The lady in reception was very kind & helpful. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable & the bathroom was spotless. The room provided a mini bar, tea & coffee making facilities as well as cutlery & a tea towel. There is a restaurant downstairs and room service available. The only faults I could find is no lift so I had to carry our suitcase up 3 flights of stairs & inside the room there was no dishwashing liquid or cloth. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely one night stay in the family spa room. It's nice to book accommodation and not have the cheapest appliances and decor that can be found. The lady booking us in was lovely. The only downside was that the spa was not as comfortable as others we've used.

The buildings are classic and well done.. the rooms are large and so much room. The price was I thought very reasonable. We had the spa room. I enjoyed it after our long walks today. There is a gym and looks well equipped. The receptionist was very happy and friendly really made us feel welcome . Would stay here again

This hotel is in a heritage listed historical building, and so it has a look and feel imbued with old world charm. It works very well in a place like Launceston. The rooms are pretty good - with everything required. The beds were ok (not the most comfortable). The restaurant is very good, though pricey. The staff are super nice and very helpful.

There are no lifts in this heritage-listed property, so you have to haul your luggage up stairs, but if you packed light, it should be ok.
