Keith and Alison couldn't have been more helpful or nicer. The apartment was spacious and well appointed, the complex was terrific and the area gorgeous. We were in a 2 bedroom apartment and we thought the kitchen and the living area were fantastic. We will be back! They had a supply of boogie boards and beach chairs to borrow and they gave us discount coupons for local places. The beaches here are really nice and lots of options in easy walk.

Stayed in feb 2014 booked via rainbow bay realty (cheaper I believe) Unit 13 has no ceiling fans and the main bathroom is tiny. Onsite managers very friendly and not at all annoying (unlike our stay at rainbow place). Pool well maintained and great for families. I believe units are individually owned. Will stay again :-)

Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids aged 14 and 16 recently stayed for 6 nights in September.I booked direct with the manager Alison.Such a lovely and helpful person as is her husband.I knew I had booked the right place before I left.It is One block from the beach and we had no problems carrying our surfboards. We had a 2 b/r delux which was unit number 6 and was very nice and clean.I checked out the 2 b/r standard and it was fine also. Our unit was on the bottom floor.Everything you need and in working condition.A nice balcony that overlooked the pool. The pool and spa was beautiful.Very child friendly with large steps to sit on.A nice bbq area undercover.Walking distance to surf clubs and shops.Beautiful boardwalks and paths to walk/run on while watching whales near by.We chose this unit as it had a seperate street access with a small courtyard and was great for parking and coming straight into from the beach with surfboards.Have already organised to return next year and with friends this time.Well priced.

Room Tip: Choose a room with street access if you have surfboards.

I stayed here in January school holidays and it was so awesome, i stayed with family and the rooms were really spacious, huge open plan lounge rooms, kitchen was good enough to cook in and clean when we got there, It was such a nice place to get away from Sydney,

The couple were so nice giving us tips and if we needed anything in the apartments they would jump at it,

The pool was small but it was also really relaxing and a great environment ( a lot of hot guys) its a short walk from everything, Twin Towers was only about a 15 max nice walk, you could be in NSW and QLD at the same time as well which was pretty awesome
There were so many restaurants, Cafe's there was a minimart only just a minute by walking distant from outside the reception,
The beach was only about 5 minutes max away,

I dont think i could have ever experienced such a great holiday, and it was so cheap as well ..
I loved it.

I recommend hiring a car its the best way to see the coast lines, we went to a lot of places with the car such as, Kingscliff (such an amazing beach and area), Rebina (the biggest shopping centre so far) and just drove around and saw the amazing NSW country side, (we were actually driving and a whole herd of cows was just blocking the countryside road for 5 minutes so it was amazing to see something like that.. )

Thanks to the staff that made it great as well, the place is amazing!!!

We have stayed at The Bay Apartments over many years. Sometimes with family and friends and recently as a couple. It is close to everything, a block back from the noise of the beachfront and tranquil. The apartments are well presented and they offer excellent value for money. The current managers are a delight. We cannot speak more highly of their professionalism and pleasant welcoming attitude. We look forward to returning.

Room Tip: we preferred ground floor but have stayed in several different apartments and have had no problems with any.
