We came to Il nido for dinner with friends. It’s a small restaurant with authentic Italian food. We shared bruschetta as a starter and then had seafood pasta. Two pizzas some gnocchi and a rocket and pair salad as a main. The food has been very fresh and delicious. Service was very nice as well. Can highly recommend

A friend and I went to Il Nidos for dinner. She had been several times before and recommended it due to the amazing food. It was my first try.

The atmosphere was great, intimate and fun. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant smelt amazing.

We ordered several dishes to share throughout the night. For our starters we ordered the mushroom arancini. There was four generous balls to a serve. They were sooooooo good filled with moist slightly cheesy and saucy filling. We also ordered a medium Caliente pizza which was again a great size topped with quality ingredients and was hot and fresh. For our mains we shared an entree size spaghetti seafood and the BBQ baby octopus. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection and the Sufi sauce was very tasty we could have happily eaten just the pasta topped with the sauce. There was a good amount of seafood in the dish too. The BBQ baby octopus just melted in our mouths, we could have cut it with a spoon, I was surprised at how tender it was. The side salad that accompanied the dish was simple but also very nice.

We enjoyed some sangria with our dinner which went down well. It is safe to say we could not fit dessert although the dessert we saw others order looked well presented and yum.

I can not wait to go back and try some other dishes on the menu.. and some of the same again they were that good.

The Pork Sausage and Mush Pizza is an absolute cracker! The Spaghetti With Truffle and Pecorino was even better... Delivery was a little later than it should have been (and a little bit on the cold side), but the delicious flavours make up for it! (Otherwise it would have rated a 5/5).

Hanging Italian memorabilia on walls does not make for good authentic Italian pizzeria. Pizza bases are very doughy and thick, topics are of average quality and do NOT have their salads. These appear to be pre prepared ... ours came out on super cold plate and looked very dead with no dressing or taste. Service is OK as long as they can up sell something .... no point giving feedback when asked as they just get defensive and offer completely stupid excuses.
