Park in a good location and staff are friendly.. But we had to ask for the bins to be changed ( which smelt and were overflowing) and the bathrooms were really old there were only 3 showers. When the bathrooms were cleaned they were just hosed out and puddles of water left on the floor. Lots of trees and virtually no maintaince. Also very bossy and nosey permanent residents so if you want to stay up past 10 forget about it!!!! Basically go elsewhere

This caravan park is unique in that it is a little old fashioned. The cabins are modern and available in a variety of sizes, with some having been refurbished in the last year. The amenities block would date back to the seventies but it is refreshing to see it in immaculate condition. Super clean. Well maintained. A real credit to the owners.
The park is nestled among rainforest type trees, and is a short 5 minute stroll to Flynn's Beach.
I would highly recommend this caravan park!

friendly staff, good location and price and next to a nice restaurant/ bar.
Unfortunately the site is let down by the poor facilities. Very dated and grubby.
We had a cabin as well for two of our group. It was smelly and very dated, furniture was old and uncomfortable.

Location is great as its only a 5 minute walk to flynns beach. Beautiful beach where you can swim, relax and surf. A few shops nearby and restaurants but only a handful. The site itself is slightly smaller than the other tourist parks we have visited and is surrounded by a lot of trees - a few bird droppings and a handful of insects surround you, but that's nature! The path is a dirt track, facilities need updating and made larger. Quite small blocks for the amount of people here. Nice swimming pool - looks clean. Free wifi which is always a bonus! If you want to explore more it is only a 10 min drive to the town centre. It was fine for one nights stay but needs a good makeover! Price was reasonable at $28 a night for a campervan and the staff were helpful.

Camped on the Australia Day weekend and after driving down from Qld to NSW and it was flooding the whole way down, we got to Port Macquarie and it was relatively dry to my amazement. We were able to set up the tent after it had been raining, but it was fine and relatively dry on the site. I must say we hadn't had lots of experience camping in a caravan park, however I was pleasantly surprised how convenient the park is to the coastline and Flynns Beach, which is within walking distance. You can actually walk for kilometers along the coastline and I would definitely recommend it. Unfortunately, after three fine days, we were inundated by heavy rain and needed to pack up in the wet. I would definitely camp at this park again as it had a camp kitchen and I loved the vicinity to the beach.
