Excellent arrival with a warm welcome, everything explained. Easy walk to main street and local sites and restaurants and pubs, very safe. Super comfy bed easy sleep in and breakfast was superb. Lots of space to sit and take in the garden and atmosphere. A must if you are passing thru. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed a night here when visiting Newcastle for a soccer match and found it to be a very good choice.

Located close to several bus lines, and walking distance to the Stadium, it is also situated in a quiet neighbourhood street, making for a good night’s sleep.

Our room was eclectically furnished, and had everything that we needed. The Premier Hotel, virtually at the end of the street, was a good choice for a quick drink after the match.

Breakfast, taken in the dining area overlooking the lush back garden, was tasty, and we could choose from a wide selection of options. Colin was a great host.

We would happily stay here again.

This place is well appointed and quite quaint. The room I had included a desk , tv dressing table and ensuite. All vintage. It was a nice touch to have a power strip near the bed some 4 and 5 star hotels don’t offer this. I had eggs Benedict for breakfast each morning and they were excellent. This place ideally located less than a mile from the Beaumont st restaurant district. There are two pubs less than 1/2 mile. CBD and four shore are less than two and a easy walk.

Excellent accomodation, very warm and cosy. The owners make you feel at home! Delicious breakfast, comfy bed, spacious room. The free lift to the station and city tour was a lovely gesture very much appreciated!

Room Tip: Close to train station (broadmeadews)
