As we were travelling from Bright to Yarrawonga, and wanting to stop at the Bandiana Army Museum, we decided to break this section of our trip and stay overnight at Albury Manor House.
We made the right choice.
The Spa Room was very comfortable and our room was well away from the trafrfic noise in Young Street.
You could cut of the view with the spa/shower curtain, but I would much prefer not having to have my spa next to the toilet.
some people have said "never eat where you sleep" but then maybe they've never stayed at the AMH..... My wife enjoyed her "soup of the day" ... chicken and vegitable / and the Beef and Ale Pie. Fortunately I chose the prawn cocktail...something far removed from the "few prawns and lettuce leaf of the 70's. I was thinking of the wagu specialty of the house, but as I'd already ordered the prawn cocktail, I decided on a rare-medium rare eye fillet.... pepper sauce with salad..... I was impressed....the piece of fillet was great and cooked to perfection..
One can only comment on what one has expereinced first hand...in this case it is all positive.
