The Spire is in the middle of Queenstown, so easy walking distance to the lakefront or anywhere you want to visit in the central town.

The suite was spacious and well-finished. Amenities were good. Nice gas fire too to be comfortable in front of when we felt like a few minutes out. It feels like it has been freshened up recently.

The hotel connects to a nice restaurant too so breakfast is provided there and I’m sure you would be looked after at dinner.

We have stayed at a number of nice hotels in Queenstown and would probably pick this one again given its quality, space and convenience.

Thanks

The Spire is a true luxury boutique hotel. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to celebrate an occasion.
Fabulous location that is central to everything Queenstown has to offer for sightseeing and for those wanting more adrenaline charged activities.
Friendly staff, gorgeous food and amazingly beautiful and comfortable rooms.

My Wife and I stayed at the Spire Hotel for four nights recently. What an amazing Hotel.Extraordinary Rooms, fantastic Staff and a perfect Location. The Hotel is first class in all areas including the Bar/Restaurant No.5 Church Lane which had lovely food and great service with special mention to Chris for his friendly and welcoming attitude.Rooms were huge with all amenities and had touch of class and luxury. Thanks to Kieran who went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. Would recommend to anyone who wanted luxury to stay here.

Absolutely loved our room - looking over gardens and nearby church grounds, really cute and great amenities (included all the soft drinks, juices, cookies, chocolates etc!)
The service from the staff was a highlight and some of the best we've experienced travelling around - nothing too much trouble and great recommendations on activities and dining options, every request was nailed, changed our spa times, organised bike hire, the works.
Condition of the room was great and loved the little hand made turndown treats from housekeeping in the evening - a nice surprise when we came back from dinner.
Nice cocktails in the bar downstairs, funky spot with a nice chatty team looking after us - felt spoiled!
Thank you Spire!

Room Tip: only two floors not a high rise

Many thanks for your feedback!
It was a pleasure to have you with us as you explored the region and I know your heli encounter was something special as well - it isn't every day you can enjoy champagne on a glacier, unless you visit Queenstown every day that is!

Looking forward to welcoming the whole family back to Ski this season.
Cheers,

The room is really nicely appointed with taste , comfort and space. They make a point of telling us that the room will be tended to more than once a day.
Real noise issue at 2AM when nearby club closes.
So many service issues that we could not believe this hotel had management (we never saw anyone in charge, it was like the hotel was run by toddlers)
Some examples: first day morning we leave at 8 30 AM two giggling girls at front desk tell us what a wonderful plane ride we will have so they know we will be gone for a while, we come back at 1PM the room is not done.
Also at turndown, garbage bag was left on carpet in middle of room when I brought the bag to reception she just said thank you! not sorry for the inconvenience.
At bar drinks are served without a napkin to put the wooden pick for example.
At breakfast at The Grille, floor was littered with food and crumbs, we stayed there during the meal nobody bothered. .Not only the notion of service is absolutely not understood but we could see that employees were really having a great time together , laughing and conversing with their mates. Management was totally absent and we saw no one to even explain our dissatisfaction.

Thank you for your review although disappointing to see you had some issues during your stay.
It sounds like there were some housekeeping lapses we need to get on top of and I will certainly raise with the team - generally our services are of the highest standard and is a point of comment for most guests how well they've been looked after - my apologies that you did not experience this level during your stay.
Myself or any of our duty managers are available any time and always happy to assist with any issues, please don't hesitate to contact me directly jcavanagh@eichardts.com
Kind regards,
James Cavanagh
