Mt Rosa is located on the Gibbston back road amidst the panoramic views of Gibbston valley. Trish facilitated the wine tasting for us. She is extremely warm and a great company for a wine adventure. Mt Rosas wine tasting menu was expansive and Trish provided some great information around the different wines on the menu. My personal favourites were the Pino Gris, Pinot Noir and the Rose. It is amazing that a boutique vineyard in NZ is producing wines that can easily take on the European giants. The showstopper at Mt Rosa was the mulled wine. So perfect and beautiful. It was easily the best I have ever had. Indeed it was Christmas in a cup. I hope Mt. Rosa starts shipping to India soon!

Mt Rosa was our first stop and we were warmly greeted with a smile, humour and cold water after cycling up hill on a hot sunny day. The cellar door is well set up for a simple stand up wine tasting or sit down and order a cheese platter. The tasting is very personal with a beautiful view of the valley. The wines are delicious, so much so we ordered a case which arrived today in perfect condition. All through NZ Wine Export NZ, handled by Mt Rosa when we ordered 2 weeks ago - very seamless and we look forward to tucking into our wine. We also enjoyed our 2nd visit with a glass of Rose before our departure. Thank you to Guy and his team for enjoyable tasting and delivery of wine.

This winery is really small. That means that you will get personal attention from the staff. The wines and food were good, and the seating area is outdoors which was great for the day that we were there!

Stunning setting. We visited for a wine tasting and a chat- had a lovely time, especially enjoyed the mulled wine. Just had a lovely bottle of Mt Rosa Sav tonight with dinner...we will be back. Absolutely great service.
