“Culture, landscapes and history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2012

As I wrote in the title, this trip is not just another trip by boat, take some pictures and leave. The skipper was driving the boat as well as telling us about the cultural (Maori), historical and scientific facts of the lake and Queenstown. In my opinion he was the coolest part of the trip and I can say that I learnt things I didn´t know after 5 other visits to Queenstown. We got the third rainy day in 14 months (according to the people) but that didn´t matter because we managed to enjoy and learn from the trip. The trip included coffee, tea and nice chocolate biscuits that made the trip nicer. The boat was nice as well. At the end of the trip we got a ticket to visit the Queenstown underwater observatory.

“Forget the rest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2012

On the day we booked our lake cruise there was my wife and another couple on the boat. The skipper Rowan introduced himself and made us most welcome abaord. Even though there was only the 4 of us the tour went ahead and I would have to say it was certainly one of the highlights of our trip. Rowan gave us a detailed history of the lake and sorrounds, we stopped for afternoon tea and some excellent photo opportunities. This cruise offers excellent value for money and I would thoroughly recommend it.

“the best cruise in queenstown”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2012

we found this cruise in one of those big booklets that you get all over queenstown. we chose this one as it takes you further and you get free tea and coffee and biscuits and the friendlyness skippper ROWAN you will ever meet. he talks to you about all the surrounding mountains, millionaires row, and he takes pics for you with your camara as he say ' you can take pics today and always delete them tomorrow' we throughly recommened going on this trip. one of the best bits is drinking the pure clean lake water. it is fantastic. for $25 this is not breaking the bank for an hour and a half you cannot complain and you also get a free trip to the aqarium after to see the fishes. you can also feed them for a $1. we would do it again.

The title says it all, great way to see the lake.
Take a good camera, and unless it summer, prepare for some cold weather.
Definitely good value for money. :)
