Jo & Doug could not have been more helpful!
We turned up late and had a barrage of questions to ask about kayaking in Milford Sound. Jo and Doug 'phoned various companies and basically got us totally sorted out in record time.
The room is spacious and clean and Queenstown is epic! I wish we were staying here longer; I definitely plan to return.

This tidy, unpretentious motel is within walking distance from the heart of queenstown. Set back from a main street, it's quiet and peaceful. The owner-managers are very helpful, warm and hospitable. The rooms are modern, spacious and provide everything you need. It's not a fancy luxury property, but for me it strikes a perfect chord. I've sent other people to the Amity Lodge and would absolutely stay here again. And all of this at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms are sunnier.

This truly was the friendliest motel I have ever had the privilege to stay at. The manager went out of his way to make sure our time in Queenstown was as enjoyable as possible. The place itself was extremely well equipped and in a great location. We had a great time here.

Four of us stayed in a 2 BR suite for 5 days and this hotel was perfect. The kitchenette was fine for our needs for brekkie and lunch. The walk up the hill from town was not something to look forward to, but that's just me being a grump after a great day and a fun time in town hanging out or partying it up. We definitely plan on returning and would definitely consider the Amity Lodge again. Doug was great to with recommendations and directions, and the on-site laundry was much appreciated. Our unit had a nice small balcony and a nice open living room.

Amity Lodge was a really comfortable motel, suitable for a family. We had our 2.5 y.o. toddler with us and found it to be a good choice. Parking outside motel room. Greeted by really friendly owner who took no shortcuts in explaining everything we needed to know about our room as well as anything else we were interested in, during our stay in beautiful Queenstown. Our motel main room had comfortable couches and a dinner table as well as a well equipped kitchen and lots of bench space. Bathroom was spaceous and clean and bedroom was perfect for us, with one queen and one single bed (as well as a cot which we requested but did not end up using). We stayed for 2 nights and it was a really good choice.
