Was very keen to see this beautiful iconic original building and campus. New Zealand’s first university.

Sorry I did not have more time to stroll around and take in the atmosphere.

Lovely campus to walk round and our guide who had been to the University was able to tell us some interesting stories about the campus. There is some beautiful architecture and also a river running through the campus giving it a lovely outlook. On the day we were there was a student practicing his club juggling by the river, not quite a perfect performance unfortunately.

An attractive and varied campus, offering top-class scholarship. Can be visited as part of the sightseeing tour from the Octagon.

The buildings are cool, and the campus is one of the most beautiful in the world. But please do not take random pictures of the students without their consent.

It is very uncomfortable when a group of Chinese tourists line up their camera while I walk just because I look different to the people they tend to see back home.

As a visitor I felt at home, with university-wide internet access, several libraries, decent cafeteria and stunning architecture. The campus tour was interesting and the gardens in autumn so colourful.
