We stayed two nights and had two different rooms. Rooms on upper level have wonderful views, even from the bath. Rooms are well equipped. The bath is not. One hand towel, tiny package of soap and little packages of shampoo, etc. For the price, one expects more. Breakfast was very disappointing. Waffles from the freezer which tasted like cardboard. Second morning had a poached egg which was hard boiled. Dinner in the music room was ok. Staff was in a hurry to clear at end of meal. One we had was 2.5X the cost we would pay at retail. Don't expect to use your Apple products at the Castle. Staff shrugged and said their wi-fi did not work with Apple products. Grounds are lovely and staff trys to please. Worth one night stay to explore grounds and house at leisure and to enjoy the views of the harbor and Pacific.
