In all fairness we did only come for a drink, but the three staff that were on were incredibly rude, No hello or anything just asked us what we'd like. When my cocktail was ready it was shoved at me so it spily over slightly by the bartender saying "this yours?" And we felt like we were being judged as we sat at the bar having a drink, the three staff members pointing at us and snickering, not very cool

We decide to try a new cafe on Sunday at 1pm having driven past this cafe in the past thought ok lets try it. Was greeted by a waiter in rush very quickly shown to our table..he gave the specials and what they had run out of so fast we could not recollect what he had said. We noted two waiting staff on to look after around 20 people at this time. Noting they were not busy there were tables not occupied. Finally a female waitress came over to take our order we decided on cajun chicken ordered a drink...the drink came then the waitress came to tell us they had run out of chicken and two other dishes. We decided we had come out for a nice lunch and this was not happening...so we left..they give us our drink for free. I felt the atmosphere was not at all welcoming very sterile.. despite that we were still willing to try the cafe would never go back or recommend.

I quite like this place at the end of Colombo Street, sitting at the corner of a busy roundabout. It is a mixture of sports bar and restaurant, with high tables and chairs, big TV screen(s), also normal restaurant tables and sheltered outdoor seating. A bit dark inside. The selection of cakes for an afternoon coffee is minimal. We often went there for a beer and a cider with bar food (chips, wedges etc.).

We enjoyed a brilliant evening - party of 7 - with just one other small group dining at the same time as we were. 7:30 on a Saturday evening. I was surprise the restaurant was not busier. The food was truly delicious. Between us we ordered 4 different mains with 3 of us choosing the twice cooked pork belly. This was top notch in my experience - pork belly is often at the top of my menu choices. The presentation of all meals was very attractive and plenty of food on each plate. The Salmon dish was given a top rating also, plus the pizza seemed far to large for one person to eat - but somehow there were no crumbs left at the end of the meal. Good wines and beer selections. I think the service was very good, but given that lack of diners the work load was not too strenuous. We were overall very impressed and are going to revisit for lunch this week, plus look at the option of having a birthday party there in one of the upstairs rooms.
