What a great place to stay! Super comfy bed, nice room with new appliances, close to cafes, restaurants, walking distance to the city centre. My partner and I had a great time, perfect place to relax after exploring the amazing Wellington.

Thank you for reviewing our new City Studio! We are hoping this is a great option for those wanting a self-contained, private access unit but with advice and support available if needed. Lots of local activities although some find it hard to get out of the king-sized bed!

It was perhaps the most miserable day of the year in Wellington. However the accommodation was fantastic. It was warm, clean and very well appointed. It was a welcome oasis of comfort and quiet. The location is excellent, there is a short walk to Willis Street away from busy roads.
Great hosts. Highly recommended.

Thanks Sean. Willis Street area is one of the lesser known gems of Wellington, with Aro Valley and its hipster cafes and brewery just around the corner. Hopefully we will see you again soon.

I particularly wanted to stay in this cottage in Tonks Grove as I had lived in Tonks Avenue maybe 60 years ago. It did not disappoint as although the house was a different one it was great to be back in the area. Cuba Street is an extremely interesting historic part of Wellington and has every restaurant you could possibly want. The cottage is situated just off Cuba Street which reduces any noise there ma be from the street itself. It was good to arrive on a rainy Wellington evening and find the heater on, definitely made us feel welcome. Everything in the accommodation was neat and clean, the bed linen was of a good quality and the shower worked fine. Cookies in a jar, tea, coffee, what more could you want! I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be conveniently placed for all that central Wellington has to offer. We would have liked to stay longer but it was all booked up unfortunately - maybe next time!

Thank you so much for your review. The cottages are great and we will also soon be re-opening our hosted Bed and Breakfast in our new house in Abel Smith Street.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins on Tonks Street. We came in at night and had a little trouble finidng the street. This cabin is off Cuba Street (the "coolest street" in New Zealand). We were able to easily access the cabin and found it clean and just right for our needs. The owners were very responsive to us when we had a small issue with the parking space (our fault) we came in at night and did not see the sign. We did not even use the car unitl leaving Wellington; Cuba Street and the entire area was great. We had a wonderful time.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs, it is the city so it can get a little noisy.

Fab wee girls weekend, booked this townhouse hideaway at the top of a steep hill but so handy to town and to the path up to the top of mount victoria to see the awesome view of the city. Great find and would recommend. Clean and hosts very accommodating and quick to get back to you. Just the garage is quite small, bit tricky to park inside with a big car, but we managed. Book it!
