Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a business trip, online booking was a breeze, check-in was personal and very efficient. The hotel is ideally located to access the CBD, foreshore, but just off the main street that you get some peace and quiet from the traffic. The room is very comfortable, with all the amenities you need. Fast wifi and decent desk space to do some work. The concierge was great from dinning suggestions to route for a run. Great place to stay to explore Wellington or a place to rest after a busy day.

We stayed for two nights in a Classic Suite & were very pleased with our choice of hotel.

The check in was quick & smiley, the concierge was helpful.

The suite had a small number of blemishes, but generally was lovely and comfortable. We made use of the washer dryer which handily had a couple if sachets of washing powder, plus also used the small oven one evening to cook a couple of pizzas when too tired to eat out.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the gowns/slippers appreciated.

The pool was a little cool for our taste, but the Jacuzzi was great after a long days sightseeing.

If returning to Wellington I would strongly consider the Bolton Hotel again.

Room Tip: Go for as a floor as possible for a view, we had floor 15.

We found this Hotel a great place to stay. The studio room was comfortable, great bed, and shower room, all you need for a few nights stay. We tried an evening meal, um not as good as we hoped, but never the less OK. We would stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights as a part of our honeymoon. We were very happy with the quality of the room and all the features. There is an amazing shower and a very comfortable bed. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, ready to help at any moment. Even the owner of the hotel came to our room to show us how to use the stove top. The hotel itself also had loads of great amenities, making our stay very comfortable. The location of the hotel is a big bonus, we were able to walk everywhere, leaving the car behind. We were very happy we chose to stay here.

Dear Mykaela91
I remember meeting you in the lift and upon learning you were cooking your own meal in your suite, I showed you how to use the just installed, induction cook top. I did not realise you were on your honeymoon, if I had, I would have arranged a complimentary bottle of wine. Nevertheless I was delighted you enjoyed your room and stay with us. Thank you for your excellent review, very much appreciated.

The Bolton Hotel ticks many boxes ; location , room rates and customer service. The small and busy lobby belies a BIG heart with an authentic sense of arrival . Highly recommend a lazy late supper fireside with the book shelves providing intellectual delight that helps one overlook the ever-so-slightly dated hotel interior . Praise be to the concierge who efficiently averted a flat tyre from further deflating our roadtrip .

Dear 6MTR26
It was nice to read you enjoyed your stay with us and in particular a lazy late supper by the fire in our lobby library. I was particularly pleased to note one of our concierge team change your flat tyre, well done.
Thank you very much appreciated.
