The bedroom felt very homely... Nice decor and furniture and finishing touches... Bed very comfortable... Excellent location for everything in Wellington... On direct route to airport etc... The WiFi was a nightmare to log into but got there eventually.
The only let down are the elevators which are the first impression, dirt carpet, very need revamping to make people feel welcome... But room was lovely.

I stayed in the studio room for a short business trip in Wellington. In general the room was lovely, it was clean, spacious and well decorated. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, a few things let the experience down.

1. The bathroom sink is ridiculously designed. It's tiny and has a shelf right above it, which means leaning over the sink is impossible. While it's fine for hand-washing, washing my face and rinsing my mouth were effectively impossible. I wound up having to use the kitchen sink, thank goodness I had a studio room and that was an option.
2. The rooms come with free wifi, which is great and it has reasonable speeds. However, my wifi login stopped working a couple of hours before checkout. I'm not sure if there was a bug with the system, or if they deactivate the logins before checkout, but that was frustrating.
3. There was a long black hair folded in with my bathroom towels. Not a huge deal as the rest of the room was very clean, and these things happen. But a bit unpleasant nonetheless.

Room Tip: The king studio has a kitchen sink which is useful given how tiny and difficult to use the bathroom sinks are.

This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Wellington.

The rooms are always lovely. There is typically always a parking spot available out the back (additional charge).

Good location near shops and supermarket.

Bonus is the great restaurant downstairs.

I stayed here for business. It’s not my normal Wellington hotel but I found it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel reception is a bit underwhelming as it’s very small and on the third floor but the hotel itself was great. Despite all of the reviews my hotel room size was fine. It had a kitchenette and small sitting area with quite cool retro looking furniture. The bathroom is cosy but all you need. Used room service and had breakfast in the Sterling Cafe - the food was superb. It was healthy, interesting and well presented. I think this hotel may well become my preferred Wellington hotel from now on.

A nice hotel with tidy, clean, quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is central and the entry subtle. The reception is small and the bar / restaurant is a bit out of the way but that doesn’t distract from this really great hotel.
