Wonderful time with John tasting some good wine in Hawkes Bay. Will be back again on our next trip down here.

Stopped in here while cruising the area on bikes.
If you want a personal experience then discuss wines with Sharon at Brookefields. We have visited quite a few wineries in NZ and Australia and this was one of the best experiences we have had, she is so welcoming and has amazing knowledge of wines They were setting up for a wedding but at no stage did we feel we were rushed.
We visited other wineries in the area and enjoyed them all, but this was by far the best.

A great relaxing tour. John was so knowledgeable about winemaking. Outstanding wines and very very welcoming. We've done quite a few vineyard visits in various countries and this is the best.

I love this vineyard - it has been our favourite for many years and still is. Each time we return, we are recognised (a bit sad really but I promise we only go every couple of years!). The wine is always top notch and we only share it with people who appreciate wine. The advice that they give as to how long we should cellar the wine is always bang on. We still have a bottle of '99 reserve red which we are hanging on to until our son is 21 (next year) and every time we go Sharon checks that we have made sure it isn't leaching! Love this place and the staff.

We arrived shortly before closing time and the gentleman still served us with the upmost respect and passion for his wines. We sampled 5 of the best red wines of the region, rich in color and flavour. Such a cute vineyard with tons of personality and outstanding vintages.
