My husband and I have never had a bad night here. We have had great romantic dinners, graduation dinners, (which was our most recent visit), and a sensational post wedding party. Whether sharing a large seafood mezze platter between friends, listening to live music on a Thursday night over traditional Greek mains, or enjoying some home made baklava with a glass of ouzo there is a real romance to this restaurant. Some nights even the owner would traditionally smash plates and dance with us. Even though, like most Devonport places, the restaurant is small it is full of heart. With walls that are covered with good memories. I would go much further than saying it is North Shore's best Greek restaurant; it is NZ's best Greek restaurant. When coming to Devonport we like to make a booking to be sure we can get a table. But if not there is at least the takeaway menu with all the delicious seafood. I found the presentation of the food honest and hearty. Even though I have a laundry list of allergies and intolerances there is always something there for me.
