Stayed at the Mont Clare after a long flight from Glasgow, was pleasantly surprised that the key arrangements worked well. The apartment was great and the beds very comfortable. Only issue was the roadworks outside which started at 0730. The apartment could do with a refurbishment but represents good value.

Reception staff are awesome and helpful. That's about it. The 2 bedroom apartment only had a bath in the ensuite and no shower, which meant we all had to use the one shower in the other bathroom. Only one AC unit for the entire apartment making it very stuffy at night. Very thin walls so you can hear everything going on in the apartments near you. Overall the rooms are dark and dreary. Which meant having the lights on most of the time. Wouldn't stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights, 2 adults and 2 kids in a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. We payed $125 per night. I haven't been as delighted in value for money as I have been with Mont Clare.
Beds were very soft and comfortable, shower was lovely and full pressured, TV very easy to use. It was lovely and quiet, no party or street noise. Bonus is free off street parking.
The location in East Perth is right opposite Mantra on Hay, and next door to Country Comfort - about a 20 min easy stroll into the Hay St mall.
Plenty of eateries within a 5 min walk and the kitchen is very well equipped. This apartment had everything we needed, and I have payed a lot more to stay in Perth for much less amenities - I really recommend this property if you are looking for a good apartment suitable for the family.

Stayed in a two bedroom appartment, accompanied by my wife and teenage child. First issue that took me by surprise was the how limited and tight the onsite parking was - all the cars were packed in like sardine cans - so if you own a largish 4WD, forget it unless you are lucky and can grab a middle bay before the parking fills up. Whill on first observation in dim light the appratment looked ok, on entering the bathroom the volume and musty stench of the mould coating all walls in the shower cubicle was disgraceful (I am being polite with the language) - I kept thinking tinea central after each shower! I paid about $200 per night for three nights and just expected far better than what was presented (especially when I did scan other websites that proposed that Mont Clare was a 4 out of 5 star rating - cough cough choke, splutter OMG). I must have missed the fine print in the contract where it said there were no toiletries, aside from a cheap bar of guest soap; and there were not enough cups, not enough bowls; only two teapsoons, not spare rolls of toilet paper, an unbelievably no spare blankets!! Dented and belted about furnishings - this room was just plain below par - and there was no pool or gym available, despite various booking websites advertising that there was - sorry it was just appalling, and not even on a budget tarrif....... I couldn't even request another room! The free WiFi instructions didn't work either. And if the Site Manager opts to have the last say against my review - just spend a moment in Room 23 and admire the mould growth and spores all over the shower cubicle and honestly ask if this is acceptable accommodation at the rate charged in the beautiful city of Perth.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room before agreeing to accept the accommodation!

Good location, secure parking. Room was large but desperately in need of some updating and decoration particularly the bathrooms. Also could do with better soundproofing as one of the nights was a bit noisy.
