Bathroom was not very clean, black and pink mould in bathtub and sink and toilet. Carpets were dusty and dirty all around the walls. Not much sound proofing between room. No one cleaned the room over 6 days, and there were no cleaning products in the room.

the staff are wonderful with amazing service but the rooms are very outdated... stuffy with a noisy inefficient air conditioner that didn't do anything and did not vent into the bedrooms well at all. I was sleep deprived due to this.

Thank you Brett for your feedback. I do understand your concerns and we are currently working on them all with Aircons currently being replaced with split systems. Rooms to be upgraded in December including Carpet, Beds & Wardrobes. We hope to see you again soon.

Great location, lovely staff and comfortable but it needs an upgrade desperately. On Mantra week when we asked if we could "spin the wheel" for prizes we were very quickly told it didnt apply to us as you "are not new and didnt check in today but you can have a free mini muffin if you like" - they were giving away meals, breakfast, etc- seriously? The restaurant was lovely but happy hour did not include wine so we went once only. In a competitive market this hotel missed the mark by a fair way - if you eat elsewhere, dont spend a lot of time in the hotel and buy your wine from the BWS on the opposite corner you will be fine

Thank you Steph for your feedback. The Mantra+ week promotion was for new members of the program to receive benefits for signing up. As you are already members of the program you are already receiving these discounts. However I can see where the confusion lied and I do apologise for this. The Sundowner includes Beer, Spirits and Cocktails so I appreciate your feedback regarding the wine and we will look at adding this in the future.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay but I do hope you will give us another try in the future. In December we are doing refurbishments in the rooms including Carpets, Beds and Wardrobes.

The hotel was in a quiet location, beds were very comfortable and it had good access to the free CAT bus service, an easy walk to Queen's Park and Higher Ground Coffee shop. The kitchen was good and you can cook all your meals or visit the downstairs restaurant. We did find the bowls ridiculously small and used our own containers in preference (and a minor inconvenience - there was no colander for draining pasta). Staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend: The RAINE centre cinema (it's brand new), Adams one day wildflower tour and the ferry to Fremantle with gluten free fish n chips at Harbour town. Please note: The cleaner did the bare minimum ie didn't remove old papers and didn't wipe shower floor which became quite slippery. Also note: We had 2 alarm clocks wake us on 2 occasions...sincere apologies, a bottle of wine and chocolates were appreciated but we remain unsure what compensation would have made up for the loss of sleep. We paid $1000 for 4 nights and 2 of these were rudely interrupted despite our attempts at ensuring this didn't happen...a staff member actually set the clocks the day we arrived...Take heart, this may be the first and last time this happens as they removed the faulty? clocks! :)

Amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful. Great food and other attractions close by. Perth based free bus service called red cat, that gets you to connecting services.Very self contained unit. Washer driver and full kitchen. Great just great.
