“Great Italian”
Reviewed 23 January 2012

I've eaten here once before. This time I enjoyed their divine Moreton Bay Bug (seafood) pappadella with bisque sauce. Wonderful. My friend equally enjoyed her grain-fed steak. The service was excellent and our waiter so friendly. He was a delight. Their wines were excellent too.

“Diss appointed that a chef produced two pastas that were terrible.”
Reviewed 1 January 2012

Met for a small family reunion- evvuronment was fine, service was good-however the pasta for my son was disgusting ( from the kids menu) and mine was undercooked and full of oil. I am married to a chef and it was diss appointing that this would have left the kitchen. Unfortunately I Wong go back.

“A Great Improvement”
Reviewed 7 November 2011

The last time I ate here, the food and service was very ordinary. To my surprise, on Saturday the food, menu, service and efficiency has been transformed. It is a terrific plave for lunch. I struggled to choose one thing from the specials board and menu as it all looked delicious. I had the prawn and chorizo on rocket with fennel seeds in the end and it was delicious. The pizzas are great too, on thin cripsy bases with great toppings, and the pasta choices are appealing too. Licensed, super coffee, quick, professional service. I am delighted as the location is perfect.

“Nice lunch, really enjoyed it”
Reviewed 14 October 2011

I got the table at the entrance which is as confirmed by one of the waiters the best in the house.
Watching people walking on busy Bourke street but also the waiters was a nice show itself. The waiters are funny characters with their own style and look.
The food was not bad for the price, pizza is huge, i should not have ordered a starter.
I had a very nice Pinot Noir for 65 dollars. It is called "Garagiste" from Cordier wine (French influenced), so much better than the one I had the night before "Hochkirch Maximus" (German influence...) which was 30% more expensive.
I really had a good time before going shopping

“Lovely for lunch”
Reviewed 5 September 2011

We have started to make a habit of comingt here for lunch when staying in the city for a weekend. The food is fresh and tasty and it's easy to share plates, if you want to. The place is quite atmospheric, in a lane right by the GPO building and the staff are friendly and attentive. There is a pretty reasonable wine list too.
