Visited early evening on our way to a gig at Festival hall so we didn't have time to linger but we managed to get in 3 courses and drinks.
The starters were perfect - best tandoori mushrooms I have had in Australia, and delicious aloo chat.
Mains were prawn malai, palak paneer and a brinjal dish, all very delicious and well prepared. Definitely not the standard cheap curry sauces you get in a lot of Indian restaurants.
Garlic naan was was plump and juicy, the kashmiri naan maybe a little dry but still good.
Desserts were gulab jaman and kulfi, all top quality.
The service was very good, although the one waiter was rushed off his feet which slowed us down bit.
We eat at Indian restaurants regularly in Australia and overseas - this was one of the best meals we have had, certainly in Australia. I can't wait to go back, with more time to explore the menu this time.
