“Informative and beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 February 2012

We couldn't rate Parliament of Victoria highly enough. The free tour we went on was fantastic, not only informative but entertaining as well. Being from England there is a lot I didn't know about Australian politics especially how important Victoria has been to it.

The inside is really stunning and it seems each bit has it's own story.

The tour was only an hour or so but was fantastic. Highly suggest anyone with an interest in beautiful architecture, politics or history should go. Even if you don't have an interest I'd still give it a shot.

“Take a tour of your own sake to get a taste of Politics”

This building sits at the top end of Bourke Street and is an impressive piece of architecture, although a little in need of repair overall it looks impressive. Inside is quite stately an enjoyable outing.

“Legislation made interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2012

The tours are free and conducted by house staff. Our many questions were all satisfactory answered, from rituals to politics and who is sitting where in Parliament. Even for people not interested into legal stuff, the building itself is marvellous to visit, built around 150 years ago during the golden times. One of Melbourne's must dos.
