Two friends and I booked dinner and show on Saturday October 24, the headline act was Dave O'Neill.
We arrived at 7pm but the theatre was locked up. At 8pm, the manager of the restaurant next door rang the manager of the theatre who told him he believed the show had been cancelled. We had not received a text or email advising us of this and there was no sign on the door.
We emailed the Comedy Club office, but did not receive a reply, so we went to their office. We were told that they had moved out a week before.
We then visited the theatre. The Ticketek people were very helpful even though we had booked directly with the Comedy Club. They suggested we write a letter to the director of the Comedy Club. Sproutix replied. They are chasing the Comedy Club but they are not holding out much hope that we will get our money back.
The Comedy. Club website is still up and running and is advertising for their November and December shows!
