Great fun, the kids loved it (x2 8 year olds). As well as being fun it was educational, lots of things were learned as they scrubbed the deck and carried the cargo.

Enjoyable visit on the ship with friendly staff putting on a pirate themed event. Amazing to see how travel by ship has changed since those early days.

We had a lot of fun on our excursion to Polly Woodside. The First Mate made us scrub the deck and threw a bucket of water at us! We loved getting wet! We found it interesting that the cabin boy had to wash the 'poo rope'. We learnt that sailors had to work even if they didn't want to. We think that isn't very fair. You should go to visit Polly Woodside because it is fun. We are in prep.

We bought tickets for this at a discounted price when we visited the Melbourne Gaol (combo tickets). My son joined the tour led by Justin. Justin was fabulous - funny, entertaining and engaging for all the children in the group despite ranging in age from 3 yrs to 10 yrs. It was one of my son's highlights of our trip visiting Melbourne.

Just around the corner from the convention centre. Looks nice and great from the outside. A decent visit.
