We had a two bedroom unit that needed alot of TLC. But I thought we could look past that. On arrival we were barely spoken to and just the basic of the room number and it's up that way, and oh yes there will be 50 dollar sir charge on your credit card if anything is broken. The room was liveable nothing like the website pics. There were no mugs no forks and no salt so I asked for them only to be told that wasn't his job and to ask the house maid ! I went down to reception and she got them for me, but no tray and and I had to juggle back with 4 mugs salt and forks. I asked for a clean tea towel for 3 days but just gave up in the end. trust me if you want somewhere that will look after you while your there, Don't ever stay here..Find somwhere else

Whilst the pictures look nice and clean the actual apartments are bordering on unhygienic. Let me list the ways: On arrival there was a used glass from the previous occupiers of the room left in the bedroom. Finger marks all over the doors. Bird poo on one of the blankets in the main bedroom. food scraps on the floor. If this is not enough the Tv in the bedroom does not work and neither does the remote for a different TV (which is held together by duct tape).
I have stayed in a lot of 4- 4.5 star hotels. THis is not of this standard- lucky to be a 3 star.

Although possibly good value for money, the two bedroom apartment that we were given could use a bit of TLC. Cigarette burns on the furniture, a kitchen counter with a pot burn in it - 1 bowl, 2 glasses and about a thousand knives. Attention to detail very minimal.

When I first arrived in the unit and went through the kitchen, half of the kitchen doors were drooping or falling off. 5 minutes with a knife fixed things up, but you'd think the building maintenance could do a once-over periodically to check on these things. The curtains, likewise, are partly falling off their curtain rods - 10 minutes work would patch them back up again.

All in all the apartment was clean and neat. The beds are reasonably comfortable, and the unit accommodated my family of 4 quite reasonably. Location is good.

I think we'd look for an alternative place to stay the next time we're in Melbourne though.

Close to the gorgeous gardens, Flinders Station, Art Gallery and right on the tram and bus route we had a great time finding our way from St Kilda to the CBD; from Harbour Town to the Museum. Great spot!

I have stayed at Seasons Botanic Gardens a number of times and have always had a great experience.

Most recently booked a studio on a last minute site ($99.00) That's the 'lowest' accom they have and it's so much better than a hotel room - kitchenette/dishwasher/laundry cupboard King size bed and couch/dining table etc aswell.

Location wise it's maybe a 15-20 min walk to the Melb CBD, but a very pleasant one past the Arts precinct. And it's directly opposite the Shrine and amazing gardens.

If you need to stock up on food there's an IGA supermarket downstairs (can be pricey though)

Staff have always been great - spot on with wake up calls and booking cabs. The pool is nice for doing laps, solid gym setup, the sauna needs to be a lot hotter. Automated so you can't really control the heat, or lack of.

There's a cafe/bar downstairs, doesnt seem to get too busy and not a great menu. So many other places in the city to go though.
