Let me say this now. I'm not a jazz fan. I don't get it, i can't follow it, I can't sing to it. There.
But a friend insisted that we go after a late meal and having not much else to do that Saturday night, I said yes.
They had a very talented female singer on accompanied by piano, bass and saxophone. What I love most about that experience was that the atmosphere was sooo rich! Everyone listened to every note, and people seem to be intent on having a jolly good time.
The bar was well stocked and the bar tenders were polite and very systematic with the order-taking. There was a very good selection of spirits and wine which certainly added to the European flavour of the venue.
We arrived there during the last set so didn't have to pay the cover charge but had to stand by the bar the entire time which we didn't really mind. I'm not a jazz lover but this place is certainly a fantastic intro to this genre!
